Our Theory of Change
We have the good fortune of living in a province with a history of progressive social action, grassroots organizing, Indigenous leadership, and support for labour movements and environmental activism. There are also hundreds of thoughtful and progressive businesses, conscious companies, and not-only-for-profits in the province. Our theory of change is that many of these companies are potential B Corporations or may be interested in aligning with the B Corp movement. The ground for B Local Manitoba is fertile.
Direct Farm Manitoba – Connecting Community to Farms
Direct Farm Manitoba is a member-owned cooperative of direct marketing farmers and farmers’ markets. Their goal is to support members in achieving fairness within the industry and maximizing their opportunities for economic stability, they do this by connecting farmers with the community through a variety of initiatives, one being their newly launched map feature.
